Pattern sand gilding in face is original and untouched for the last 170 years. It's rare to find a frame with no fake gold overpaint. This frame's real gold finish sparkles and pops on the wall from room lighting. This not one of those silver shellacked "Lemon Gold" finishes that you find on many lower quality Victorian frames. Frame is 15x13 and inside oval is 9x7.

The "square in back is 8x10". Needlework is included but not the focus of this sale. I cannot stress how beautiful and original this frame is. To exist almost 2 centuries and not be messed with! Please use photographs to judge condition.
