This ORIGINAL map is huge 50" x 31". Obviously this isn't a later copy put into an atlas. This 154 year old map is in museum quality and is NOT A REPRODUTION.

It would look amazing framed on wall of someone with a passion for old Civil War maps as your crowning piece! What helps set this apart from other old maps (even other Civil War maps) is the fact that Sherman made sure this was printed on a special government paper with a SECRET WATERMARK. Take a look at the photos and one shows the government seal shown by a flashlight held up behind it. Without the light shining through it, the mark is completely hidden! The Smithsonian and Library of Congress also have a copy of this exact map which hints to its importance.
