This listing is for an original Young Lady's skirt from the Civil War period. Possibly from the 1850s, it's made of wool, I believe. The skirt is unlined and fastens at center back. It has wonderful tucks that are grouped and increase in number as they descend the skirt. There is a pocket at the right side.
It's great for display, inspiration and study. Condition: Some light discoloration and some scattered holes/wear. The waistband has been replaced. Possibly the pocket was as well, but I'm not certain. The waist is about 26.The front length is about 36 inches. Please note: Measurements are approximate and should be taken as maximum. Antique clothing items are not wearable UNLESS specifically labeled so in the description.
